Welcome to Neste Oil’s new-style Annual Report. This is our first to be designed primarily as an online publication. As a result:
- The Annual Report’s business reviews, Corporate Governance Statement, and Sustainability Report are available only online
- The Financial Statements are also available in print format.
If you would like a printed copy of the Financial Statements, please send your request by email to CORPCOMViestinta@nesteoil.com or via our Web site. Copies will be mailed from 12 March 2012 onwards and will also be available at the Annual General Meeting to be held at the Helsinki Fair Centre on 28 March 2012.
By shifting to online publication, we can offer a more comprehensive service to shareholders and other stakeholders – and make a small contribution to benefiting the environment as well.
Structure of the online Annual Report
The main structure of the online Annual Report mirrors that of our past printed reports, with navigation based around: Homepage, Neste Oil, Business, Sustainability, Governance, Investor information, Review by the Board of Directors, and Financial statements. The main navigation also includes a section devoted to the theme of the 2011 Annual Report, Pro Motion.
Pro Motion
The theme of the Annual Report for 2011 is Pro Motion and is intended to promote discussion about the significance of traffic, transport, and mobility, both today and in the future.
Navigating the Annual Report
You can navigate the Annual Report either by browsing its content or by using our predictive search function. Predictive search makes it quicker to find what you are looking for by offering alternatives based on the first few characters you type into the search field, just like predictive text on your mobile phone.
Tables, illustrations, and graphs
You will find a Download excel button alongside tables, which you can use to download them in excel format. Use the Zoom button alongside illustrations and graphs to open them up in larger format on your screen. You can also download or print these larger versions.

We have also created a toolbox to enhance your Annual Report experience. This can be found in the middle of the right-hand side of every page, and includes the following:
Download files
This enables you to download predefined sets of content. The entire Annual Report and its various sections can be downloaded as PDF files, and the tables in the Consolidated Financial Statements and Parent Company Financial Statements as Excel files.
Add page to your own report
You can add material to create a personalized copy of the Annual Report by clicking on the Add page button. This will add the page that you are currently browsing to your personalized report. You can review the content of your personalized report by clicking on Create your own report.
Create your own report
Click here to create your own personalized copy of the Annual Report based on the sections of the online report and/or individual pages that you are most interested in for download as a PDF file.
This will print out a copy of the page you are currently browsing.

The Share button is designed to enable you to share content via your favorite social media or send an email message to someone about a page that you find especially interesting.
